ArtsPool is now catering for KS1 and KS2 with a brand new ‘How To’ series of DVDs, designed to assist primary school teachers deliver structured and high quality dance lessons.

The first in the series is a primer, A Toolkit for Primary Dance, because we believe that teachers need to know the basics of how to plan a dance lesson, the type of topics to use, dancewords and their meanings and how to teach short movement sequences without being a dancer themselves.

This tookit features lovely primary pupils working with their teachers on themes of ‘The Beach’ and ‘Space’ to demonstrate our step by step approach. With narration and guidance by Karen Bailey, Dance Advisor, this simple method will ensure that the fear is taken out of Dance once and for all!
